I began studying art at Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall of 1999. While there I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. I graduated the spring of 2003.

Since college, I have worked in the corporate world as a graphic designer. I have also developed several areas of expertise in freelance art work thru a variety of genres.

When I realized there were figures I wanted that no one else was making, I began sculpting. My first piece was a 28mm scale goblinoid miniature. I then began responding to posts on industry forums and obtained work for several companies including FG Minis, Grimey Games, Doppleganger USA and several other start-up companies. I continued to work on FG Minis Jenash line of 54mm fantasy miniatures, doing both concept art and sculpting for approximately half the line. As the Jenash line was advertised, I received an increasing amount of comissions. My work continues to include a variety of pieces for both large and small companies.

The opportunities I have had to develop my illustration and graphic design techniques have also been important to my artistic career. I am always looking for new ways to expand my repertoire in this area.

I enjoy the renaissance approach to art where my varied skills and talents can be brought together to create. I continue to sculpt, draw, and design, always looking for new ways to challenge myself.
